Infini Radiofrequency

Infini is a revolutionary technology that combines high-intensity focused radiofrequency energy with microneedling for exceptional skin rejuvenation. These two treatments—radiofrequency therapy and microneedling—can have terrific effects on your skin when done alone, but when combined, work synergistically to achieve amazing results.

Radiofrequency, or RF, technology is the use of a type of electromagnetic radio waves. It has been used in medical applications for over 75 years in procedures such as ablations, and in more recent years, radiofrequency energy has been harnessed for cosmetic treatments to promote healing, tighten skin, and reduce fat.

Microneedling is a cosmetic treatment that is also sometimes referred to as “collagen induction therapy.” During microneedling, the skin is punctured with very fine, sterile needles that stimulate a cascade of healing and regenerative properties to tighten the skin and restore its youthfulness.

To understand how Infini RF microneedling works, it first helps to know a bit about how skin heals and restores itself. When the skin is injured, your body goes into “protection” mode, which is also called neocollagenesis. This stimulates the production of extra collagen, which helps repair the damage done by the injury. Because collagen naturally declines as we age, this extra boost of collagen helps restore more vibrant, youthful-looking skin in the area that the skin was injured.

Inifini RF microneedling, is an array of ultra-fine needles that are designed to deliver radiofrequency energy into a precise depth beneath your skin. The heat and energy delivered beneath the surface of the skin then stimulate your skin to produce new collagen, remodeling your tissues for firmer, tighter, and more radiant skin.

We start your Infini treatment by cleansing and numbing the treatment area. Then, we configure the Infini device to use the precise amount of heat and depth needed for your unique skin and apply the Infini device to the treatment area. The microneedles will gently puncture the skin and radiofrequency energy will be delivered to the targeted tissues to stimulate your body’s healing response. We may perform up to three applications of the device in one treatment session.

On average, each Infini treatment session takes around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the area you are having treated and how many applications we perform during your treatment.

We use a topical numbing agent before the treatment begins so that you remain comfortable during the procedure. Most patients report that their discomfort level is mild and that the sensation of the needles is similar to a mild stinging or snapping, and you may feel some mild heat.

After your treatment is complete, you will likely experience some redness and swelling in the treatment area. You can use makeup to cover it after a few hours and these side effects typically subside quickly.

The length of time it takes before you see your full results from Infini varies depending on a number of factors, such as how many sessions you undergo, the initial state of your skin, and your desired results. Most patients need around three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart to achieve optimal results. Within just one to two weeks, you may notice some initial improvement in the texture and tone of your skin. Because it takes time for collagen remodeling to take effect and make a noticeable difference in the tightness and lift in your skin, we encourage you to be patient – it is worth the wait!
