Dr. Adam Maddox – Medical Director
Dr. Maddox is a board-certified physician, leading in the field of integrative anti-aging and aesthetic medicine. From the time he was young, Dr. Maddox had a strong desire to help people maintain optimal health as they grew older. Growing up, he was keenly aware of the reality of disease and aging, watching many family members and friends become ill, and experience a diminished drive for life. From his sense of empathy, grew a personal interest in preventative medicine and general wellness. Dr. Maddox changed course during his medical training, switching from allopathic to naturopathic medicine due to his dissatisfaction with the conventional methods of treating disease, rather than preventing it. He completed his naturopathic medical training right here in Portland.
Based on the philosophy he attained in studying naturopathic medicine, Dr. Maddox has designed individualized forms of treatment that integrate advanced anti-aging laser and light therapies with internal medicine developed specifically for anti-aging. He also has a special interest in the capabilities of scientifically proven cosmeceuticals like Botox, Restylane, Juvéderm, Radiesse, and provide testosterone replacement therapy for men.
Dr. Maddox, who trains other medical professionals on injectable techniques, has been featured in Portland Monthly, and on KGW/Channel 8, KPTV/Fox 12, and KATU’s AM Northwest.
Dr. Maddox graduated with honors from the Northern Arizona University before completing a four-year medical program at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is the founder and medical director of Thrive Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Center in Portland, OR.
